Daniel Chilli Hummus

Image
Written by McDonald, T.   |  Date 16th of May 2022     This dish is creamy with a smooth texture and great for a Daniel fast.  It is basically the same as a regular hummus recipe; however, this recipe observes the rules of a Daniel fast.   Goes great with unleavened bread .

Written by McDonald, T.   |  Date 25th of April 2022       Looking for a bread you can have on a Daniel fast?  This simple unleavened bread will do for the fast.  Since no sugar is permitted on a Daniel fast, I used sultanas to sweeten it up a bit and added some herbs for more flavour.  If you don't know what a Daniel fast is, read the blog Daniel Fast Handbook .

My Lenten Diary: week 4

Written by  McDonald, T.    |  Date 23rd of March 2021 The feeling that no one is here has returned making this week increasingly more difficult.  Earlier in the week, the news from the Vatican stating that the Church couldn't bless gay unions has highlighted a massive chasm in the Church with the gays on one side and the heterosexuals on the other.  Anyone that speaks out against the gays comes under attack and is threatened with legal action. Written by McDonald, T.   |  Date 7th of February 2021     I share the good news with others, but people are not always happy to hear it. I am cut off from my remaining family and i fill that time is running out. My degree is useless it seems and i have no job. I trust in God, but i can't see an end to these troubles. I feel as if the immense worry i have been experiencing has just been put in a box and is rattling around inside it, but i don't feel cured of that worry. For that to happen, i would need to be closer to my remaining family and that means living within walking distance, working in a job that was pleasing to God either from home or in that same area and seeing them on a regular basis. In addition, I am worried about my family and their state of faith. It seems that almost everyone in London and indeed in the whole of England have lost their faith.  This has left the UK wide open to demonic attack in the shape of false religions and false proph...
