Strawberry Dessert Cake

This is a simple little cake made without oil for Pentecost. However, it is fine to have any time of the year.  It has a great texture and wonderful strawberry flavour.  Perfect for a little treat.

Makes one small cake.


  • 1 flax egg
  • 2 tsp of stevia
  • 100 g Strawberry vegan yoghurt
  • 100 g flour 
  • 50 ml of soya milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder  



  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 °C (356 °F)
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients together with a balloon whisk in a small bowl. 
  3. Mix all the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl.
  4. Bake for 23–25 mins or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean
