Vegan Bagels – Low Calorie

Fancy a little low calorie snack or something different for breakfast?  What ever the reason, these bagels are fantastic! So easy and only 143 cals each.

Makes 2 bagels

Time 30 minutes


  • 90 g of fat free vegan yoghurt
  • 40 g of plain flour 
  • 30 g of wholemeal flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt 
  • Sesame seeds (optional)


  1. Mix the yoghurt, flour, salt, and baking powder into a dough.
  2. Knead until smooth.
  3. Knead the dough into donut-like shapes.
  4. Top with sesame seeds (optional)
  5. Place on a baking tray with a silicon sheet or dust with flour and bake at 180C for 20-25mins.
