Vegan Buffet For Your Christmas Party

Written by McDonald, T.  |  Date 19th of December 2022

With Christmas just days away you will need to be prepared for your vegan guests.  Don't worry, in this post I will give you some quick examples of great tasty snack and bits that you can either buy from a shop or make yourself.

Menu

  • Vegan Chocolate Cake
  • Focaccia Bread
  • Chilli Hummus with carrot sticks
  • Vegan Cheese and pineapple on sticks
  • Vegan pigs in blankets
  • Bites
  • Plum sauce dip

Vegan Chocolate Cake

Vegan cake is always a great choice!  You can have the cake with some vegan cream from Elmlea.  You can have chocolate chip muffins instead if you think cake is too much.

Focaccia Bread

Bread is nice to nibble on, so why not make your own Italian flat bread to impress your diners?

Chilli hummus

Always a winner this one.  Easy to make and keeps in the fridge.  People love to dip carrots and celery sticks or anything they can into something, so hummus is definitely a good choice.

Vegan Cheese and pineapple on sticks

What buffet would be complete without cheese and pineapple on sticks?  There are many vegan cheeses to choose from including Applewood and Plant Pioneer.

Vegan pigs in blankets

It is possible to get all types and different brands from different supermarkets nowadays, but these ones that I had last year are from This.co and were fantastic!

I tried the plant pioneer Shroompumps in blankets too, which were also great!

Bites

I had these last year and really liked them. You can taste the sweet potato in them and were lovely in a dip.

Plum sauce dip

This dip is not just sweet and tangy, it is also east to make. Ready in minutes and will sit in the fridge for days.

I hope that you liked this blog and if you do try this recipe, please let me know how you got on and what it turned out like. You can leave a comment in the comments below.
