Homemade Curry Powder

Why make your own curry powder?
If you have trouble with a sensitive stomach, store bought curry powder might not be for you. Some people have trouble digesting onion powder or garlic powder, so making your own is the best option.
Whatever your reason, it's very simple to do.
Ingredients
- Coriander x 4 tbsp
- Cumin x 2.5 tbsp
- Turmeric x 2.5 tbsp
- Ginger x 1 tbsp
- Paprika x 2 tsp
- Chilli powder x 2 tsp (if you want it hot, use 3 tsp. If you like it mild, use 1 tsp)
- Black pepper x 1.5 tsp
- Salt x 1 tsp (optional)
- Cinnamon x 1 tsp
- Ground fenugreek x 1 tsp
- Dried fenugreek x 1 tsp
- Cardamom x 1 tsp
- Clove x 1/2 tsp
Method
Mix all the ingredients together with a spoon and store in an airtight container. I usually mix them into the pot I will be storing them in and give it a shake with the lid on at the end just to be sure.
