Vegan Bread Roll Recipe

Written by  McDonald, T.    |  Date 9th of April 2021 One way of cutting out the single use plastic is to make your own rolls.  Baking is fun and easy, but you will need to practice it to get the best results.  Another advantage to home baking is you control the ingredients.  Wholemeal is better for us because it has more nutrients and roughage. Makes 4 rolls Ingredients  Strong wholemeal bread flour x 1.5 cups Caster sugar x 1 tbsp Salt x 1/2 tsp Instant fast acting yeast  x 3.5g Vegan butter x 20g Soya milk x 1/4 cup Water x 1/4 cup Method Stage 1 Wash your hands Add the flour, salt and fast acting yeast to a medium to large mixing bowl and stir to combine. Heat the vegan milk and water in a saucepan the add the vegan butter and wait for it to melt. It is important not to let the milk boil.  Make a well in the mixture and add the vegan milk and melted vegan butter.  Be sure that the vegan milk and butter is not to hot or it will kill the yeast.  Mix together with a spoon until you g

Well, no vegan has to miss out thanks to This is not bacon.  Moreover there are plenty of different types of facon too choose from out there, so have a look around and try them.  However, I like This is not bacon from This the best because it tastes great is full of protein and it fortified with B12 and iron.  You can put it in a roll, French stick or between to slices of bread it doesn't matter as long as you have it with lettuce and tomato.  I always add in some vegan mayonnaise from Hellman's, but you can make your own.   I hope that you like my blog.  Please subscribe, share and like. What To Put In A Vegan Sandwich?

By McDonald, T.   |  Date 3rd of January 2021 This is the age of the vegan, so answering the question about what to put in a sandwich is easier than ever.  There is a great selection of vegan mock meats and cheese alternatives to choose from.   Mock meats First up is Squeaky Bean, a top name for those deli counter slices for that hunger busting sandwich.  There are many types including: Pastrami. Roast Chicken Flavour. Chicken Kebab Style. Italian Ham Style. I have only one main test, which I call the cold and naked test.  This involves eating a slice cold and on its own and if it tastes OK, it passes the test.   With this in mind, how did the mock meats do?  Well, Squeaky Bean scored highly for me with all tasting great!  They make excellent sandwich fillings going magnificently with some vegan mayonnaise and some salad.   I must admit I enjoyed these a lot.  Squeaky Bean Italian Style Ham Squeaky Bean Pastrami Next up is Vegan Quorn another great brand.  You will need to be careful
